Hi, we are Sarah and Amy, your nature buddies. We started taking groups of people out in nature in November 2022. Our purpose is to guide you to reconnect with Mother Earth by taking a break from the noisy, urban life.
We create a safe environment, combining sound, the art of photography and forest bathing to strengthen your bond with nature.
We met each other at a women’s business group in 2022, and we were inspired to use our different skills and creative modalities to offer original events.
We are both motivated to get people back outside to restore and encourage a greater sense of well-being and inner calm in their lives.
I trained as a classical pianist at the Royal Northern College of Music and have worked as a professional musician and educator for the last 25 years. As a vocal tutor, I worked at leading colleges and Universities in the UK training aspiring actors, dancers, singers and songwriters.
In 2011 my curiosity with the therapeutic nature of sound, and fascination with the voice led me to train as a sound healer with the College of Sound Healing. I became a tutor for the college, teaching others to work in this modality.
In 2014 I moved to East Sussex and fell in love with the glorious woodlands that surround me. I was thrilled when I met Amy, as I saw a chance to combine my love of nature with my sound work to help people find a little peace in their lives.
I run sound baths and collaborative sound workshops in East Sussex and London. I’ve always been aware of the profound and transformative effect of sound and how it promotes a sense of well-being.
I believe that by aligning with the vibration and beauty of nature we can connect to ourselves on a deeper level. By developing our listening skills, we reconnect to our environment and open our minds to a bigger perception of our outer and inner world.

I have been a local Tooting professional photographer for over twenty years and a qualified forest bathing guide. In my search for ways of coping with my mother’s terminal illness, I connected with the trees on Tooting Common that were being cut down and that led me to train as a forest bathing guide with Nature and Therapy UK.
I feel that working outside with photography and being in nature is very important in my work with people.
I’m an advocate of using photography to promote positive mental well-being to help enjoy the outdoors and explore all the fantastic places we are surrounded by in South London. I believe that photographs are memories captured in time which last forever.
My book 'Wild about Tooting and Furzedown' is a testament to my commitment to my community and the place I call home.
